How It Works

The key mechanism of this ant bait gel is slow-acting toxicity combined with trophallaxis (food sharing). Worker ants consume the bait and, because it does not kill immediately, they have time to carry it back to the nest. The bait is then shared with larvae and the queen through regurgitation feeding.

Once the queen is poisoned, the colony’s reproductive cycle collapses, leading to the complete elimination of the nest within a few days.

Answer: SafePRO® Ant Bait Gel contains a very low concentration of Fipronil, specifically formulated to target ants. Under normal usage, it is not harmful to pets or children. It is recommended to place the gel in hidden areas such as corners, under cabinets, or near ant trails to minimize contact. Always store the product out of reach after use.

Will it attract more ants?

Answer: No. The bait is designed to attract ants temporarily so they can carry it back to the colony. You may notice increased activity initially, which indicates the product is working. Ant numbers will decrease significantly afterward.

Will ants die around the house and create a mess?
